Malcolm Wilson Rally- Peter Taylor 24th O/a (6th in class) Darren Martin / Martin Steele 54th O/a (5th in class) David Coleman / Jonathan Fowler 77th (4th in class)
Sunseeker – Peter Taylor on the first round of the British Championship 5th O/a (4th in class).
Border Counties – Rory Young & Allan Cathers had a good run to 5th O/a (1st in class) in the GpN Evo. Phil Jobson & Jerry Hettrick finished 44th O/a (7th in class) despite gear selection trouble. Peter Taylor retired the Focus with propshaft failure at first service. Darren Martin & Martin Steele retired (something pretty rare to them) when a front damper broke. David Coleman & Kyle Gass rolled out on the first stage.
Bulldog- Peter Taylor back out in the Clio had to adapt back to 2wd and finished 10th O/a (7th in class).
Jonathan Lodge on his first event of the year navigated his way to 25th OA (1st in Class) on the Roger Albert Clark. Caroline Lodge finished 2nd in class, 27th OA on same, main event. On the Sunday Clubman event on the RAC Phil Jobson & Jerry Hettrick were setting good times until the gearbox locked solid and retired on the spot. David Coleman and Josh Davidson had an “off” in the snow of Ae, on the first stage missing SS2, but then rejoined for the remaining mileage but were classified as DNF.
The Snowman saw Peter Taylor get 3rd Overall (3rd in class), just behind was Rory Young & Allan Cathers in 4th Overall (1st in class).
(I see you wondering if Peter was 3rd & Rory was 4th, How has Rory got more points??? Well it’s to do with Peter being 3rd in class & Rory Winning his class… It’s complicated but my computer seems to know what its doing!!! And the fact that Peter’s class had more cars in was also in the equation…..)

Peter Taylor retired from the Kingdom Stages at Crail. David Coleman continued his bad luck with fuel pump failure on the first stage of the Galloway Hills Rally. On the same event James McWhir navigated Michael Hunter to 36 Overall (7th in class).
Cambrian- Caroline 81st (11th class). IRC Scotland- Peter Taylor retired with suspension damage. Mull- Peter Taylor finished 23rd (7th in class). Cheviot Rally- Barry & Michael Lindsay finished 15th Overall (2nd in class), while Peter Taylor retired.
Lindisfarne – Peter Taylor was 2nd Overall winning his class, Barry & Michael Lindsay were 5th Overall (1st in class), Geoffrey Harkness & Caroline Lodge were 13th Overall (4th in class). Rally Yorkshire Peter Taylor was 4th Overall 2nd in class.Merrick – Peter Taylor was 11th Overall (1st in class).
Tyneside stages saw Peter Taylor finish 6th Oa (1st in class), Barry & Michael Lindsay 13th OA (1st in class), Geoffrey Harkness & Caroline Lodge were 33rd OA (5th in class). At the Solway Coast Barry & Michael Lindsay were 7th Oa (1st in class), James McWhir 22nd (7th in class) & Phil & Caroline Jobson 30th (8th in class). At the Richard Burns, Keith Taylor retired while Peter Taylor came 7th OA.
This month, at Crail – Peter Taylor took the Clio to his first rally victory.
Greystoke – Barry Lindsay & Caroline Lodge finished 11th Oa (2nd in class) while finishing 2nd in the upto 1400 class Chris Taylor navigated Jonny Brass to 18th O/A.
ALM Stages – Peter Taylor finished 27th O/A (1st in class)
This month saw the Jim Clark. On the International, Peter Taylor finished 7 Overall (2nd in Class) in the R3 Clio. On the National Fiona Gourlay navigated her way round to 32nd OA (5th in Class) with Garry Wilson in an Opel Manta. On the Reivers, Peter Taylor was 14th OA and won his class, while Allan Cathers navigated his way to 25th OA (6th in Class) with Rory Young in the Evo. At Weeton Camp Nigel Hepburn and James McWhir finished 25th (5th in Class), while Richard and Simon Clark retired. On the Scottish Rally James McWhir was out with Michael Hunter but retired on SS1 with Clutch failure.

The Pirelli International Peter Taylor finish 12th Overall 3rd in class in the R3 Clio. The Halburn Stages saw Peter Taylor cruelly robbed of his maiden victory with a powersteering oil fire on the Subaru, He finished after a stage maximum in 11th. James McWhir navigated Michael Hunter in the Lada to 12th Overall 2nd in class. Pendragon saw Barry & Michael Lindsay get 4th Overall and winning the class ahead of James Coxon navigating Michael Johns in the Evo to 6th Overall 3rd in class. Peter Taylor had a troubled day finishing 30th Overall after two off’s. Other members went off and stayed off included Keith Taylor in the Subaru. Chris Taylor in the rs2000 and Nigel Hepburn & James McWhir. Barrie Thomson & Jerry Hettrick had the engine misfire return.
