A Message From The Chief Marshal
On behalf of Spadeadam Motor Club I’d like to thank all Marshals and Test Commanders who brought a team of marshals for the wonderful job you did yesterday making the 7th running of the Blue Streak Targa possible.
The competing crews certainly appreciated your efforts and the winner’s speech explicitly referenced marshals and said “they were spot on today” and although it was a relatively nice day if you were in the shade, someone else referred to “those searing temperatures” and I know many of you were out in the sun for a long time.
For me personally in my first role as chief marshal, your support and advice in the run up to the event was greatly appreciated and your experience in working together and organising the running of the tests meant it was a much less stressful day than I was expecting! Thank you for that!
Looking round the cars assembled at Rally HQ was a joy – some truly magnificent machinery and I managed to view some extremely impressive driving.
I hope you enjoyed the day as much as I did and I look forward to seeing you all again at events over the coming months.

Seeded Entry List
The Blue Streak Targa and Historic Rally Challenge is a Targa rally based in Cumbria. It is a counting round of the NESCRO Targa Challenge. The tests are joined by some of the most scenic road miles in North Cumbria. There are 19 tests, with a variety of different surfaces, from clean tarmac to concrete to gravel.
