The Blue Streak Targa and Historic Rally Challenge is a targa rally based in Cumbria. The rally takes place in August, and in 2019 it will be held on Sunday the 11th of August. The rally headquarters are based near Brampton, and the tests are joined by some of the most scenic road miles in North Cumbria. There is on average 20 tests, with a variety of different surfaces, from clean tarmac, to concrete to gravel. Vehicles must be taxed and insured for use on the road, but they don’t require a roll cage, and crews don’t require any special safety equipment or licences. The driver has to be a minimum of 17 years old with a full road licence. The passenger can be 14 or above (under 18s require parental consent to compete). We have a maximum number of entries available. Supplementary regulations will be available by download from this site next year.
